Welcome to Our Story
I've always wanted children, especially a daughter. Despite life's twists and turns, fate had other plans for me. However, I didn't miss out altogether, I got my Snowey, my beloved furbaby. He may not be human, but he is undeniably my child, and the daughter I never had.
To walk Snowey I needed a harness but I also wanted a dress at the same time - a combination of the two but I couldn't find what I wanted. Most of the dresses on the market sacrificed stretchiness for security. If you can slip into it, then you can slip out of it. Snowey has sensitive paws and doesn't like anyone to touch them, so traditional dresses were definitely out! And the harnesses were plain and ugly and sat too high in the neckline often making my baby choke when we walked.
Driven by my love of fashion and keeping my baby safe, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I began sewing exactly what I wanted and to our delight, they exceeded our expectations. The new designs fit him perfectly, eliminating any discomfort or risk of escape. Plus, he looked absolutely adorable in them! As we walked heads would turn, and people couldn't help but shower him with compliments.
We loved the positive response and bringing joy to total strangers. The reactions inspired us to share our creations with the world. Thus, Snowey's Closet was born.
